Reliable recording
Have evidence when you need it
The ALIGATOR A8 4K GPS dash cam records events both in front of and behind the vehicle, helping you keep track of everything important on the road. Ideal for daily driving, long trips, and situations where it is necessary to prove the course of a journey retrospectively. Thanks to high-quality recording, the camera can assist in resolving traffic accidents, insurance claims, or disputed situations in traffic.
Sharp recording front and rear
Detailed image in high resolution
The front camera records in up to 4K Ultra HD resolution, capturing vital details such as registration plates, traffic situations, or unexpected events on the road. A rear camera is also included in the package, which records in resolution up to 1920 × 1080 px. This gives you control over not only the space in front of the car but also the events behind the vehicle.
GPS route and speed recording
Accurate data for every journey
Built-in GPS module automatically saves vehicle position, driving speed, and route. This means that for every recording, you have access not only to the video but also to important information about where and when the event occurred. GPS recording is practical for reviewing the journey, as well as for resolving traffic accidents, insurance events, or ambiguities regarding a specific road situation.
Wide angle and better image at night
Captures more of the surrounding traffic
Wide-angle view up to 170° helps capture a larger part of the road, adjacent lanes, and the activity around the car. The camera thus provides a clearer recording of the situation in front of the vehicle. WDR support helps balance the differences between light and dark areas in the image. This makes the recording more usable even under poor lighting conditions, such as at dusk, at night, or when driving against headlights.
Smart functions
The camera monitors the drive and important moments
ADAS, BSD and LCA functions help monitor the activity around the vehicle. The camera can alert you, for example, to a vehicle starting in front of you, unintentional lane departure, or a vehicle in a blind spot. The built-in G-sensor automatically recognises an impact, sudden braking, or strong shock and locks the relevant recording against overwriting. Loop recording ensures continuous camera operation without the need to manually delete old files.
Easy control in Czech
Clear menu and mobile application
Camera setup is simple and intuitive. The camera menu is in Czech and a mobile application in Czech is also available, allowing you to conveniently manage recordings and settings. The camera also supports other languages, such as Slovak, English, German, Polish or Hungarian.
Compact design
Clean installation without obstructing the view
Thanks to its compact dimensions of 85 × 57 × 32 mm the camera fits easily into the vehicle interior and does not unnecessarily restrict the view. The camera body itself without the mount is only 30 mm high. The camera is attached using a bracket with a 3M adhesive on a transparent pad. The package includes a 3-metre power cable for the front camera and a 7-metre cable for the rear camera, facilitating installation even in larger vehicles or vans. When supplemented with an optional Hardwire Kit, parking monitor and time-lapse recording can also be used.
